Evaluation task 6

What Have You Learnt About Technologies From The Process of Constructing This Product?

This is the camera I used to take the images for my magazine, I used a tripod to balance it on. When using both of these I learned that the angle of the camera e.g. if it was tilted up or down made an impact on the detail in my image, for example if the camera was tilted to far up into the light, the models faces were not very defined. I also learned that taking the flash off and using either natural lighting or lighting set up makes an image look better.

I learned how to use photoshop whilst making my magazine, I adjusted levels and brightness to make the image stand out well against the backgrounds. I had no previous experience in using this programme but now feel confident in using it to change things such as image size, resolution, add drop shadows etc.

I had never used Flickr before, now I feel happy using the programme and uploading images from and to it. It was a quick programme to learn how to use but was very useful in the research into codes and conventions into a music magazine. It meant I could show directly what I was talking about instead of having to describe it, saving time.
